CAPTION: We spent another month analyzing Aquarius from orbit.
FRANCIS: Beta Aquarii is 550 light years from Earth, so the colonists arrived here five and a half centuries. The destination planet is located 65 AUs from the star, well within its habitable zone.
AMILA: The Martian exploration charts record this planet as being icy, with a temperate equator. As the sun has expanded over the last several million years, that description is out of date. Fortunately, there is at least one land mass large enough to be habitable.

Author’s note: Retcon alert! The dialogue has been tweaked to clarify Amila’s statement about the charts used by Westward. You’re welcome! -e
