Arizona
Teenage Girl. Introduced in Episode Three: Purgatory.
Born Alice Donovan, Arizona lives in a universe that is somehow tied to that of Westward, but different in crucial ways. The product of a
tragic childhood, Alice is socially awkward and given to unusual habits—such as storing large amounts of canned food in an abandoned mine. The name "Arizona" was
given to her by Wesley "Sam" Tahoma, a reference to her home state.
Spoilers:
Arizona possesses unusual abilities; she is able in some cases to slow or stop time, to interact with other universes, and to pull entities that exist in a metaphysical state into a physical state. Phobos described her as being "Suspended between two quantum probabilities."
Alice's version of earth effectively came to an end in summer of the year 2000, when the alien artifact discovered by Westward's crew in Episode Two somehow crossed into her universe to wreak havoc. The exact cause of this has yet to be explained, but it's worth noting that the alien entity referred to Alice as "kin." This may have something to do with her special gifts—especially her apparently unique ability to physically harm the otherwise insubstantial alien invaders by drawing them out into physical reality.
