Rex Donovan

Pilot, Command Deck Technician

Born August 10, 1979 and raised in Purgatory, Utah. Raised in a tiny rural town, Donovan had a down-to-earth attitude and an unabashed sense of wonder. Rex was friendly, likable, optimistic, and enthusiastic. Rex met his untimely end on January 6, 1999, when he was killed by the natives of an alien planet in an apparent misunderstanding. This has not kept Rex from making appearances, however. In Episode Two, Rex appeared to Rosemary Wells (who was indirectly responsible for his death) with an ominous message about the future. Later, he appeared to Alice Donovan; neither he or the alien artifact (which he referred to as his 'ride') having somehow crossed into her alternate reality.

Rex's unexpected appearances aren't limited to after his death. As Lamont Townsend has begun to uncover memories of his time among the Scientific Society, he recalled that a young Rex was present there also, opening the possibility that he was on board Westward as an agent for the Society.
