Lamont Townsend

Reporter for the Atlantic Free Press

Born June 22, 1964 and raised in London, England. Townsend spent several years during the early 1990s as a prisoner of war in Communist-occupied Tibet. After his escape to the West, he wrote a best selling account of his observations, winning multiple literary prizes. Shrewd and observant, Townsend has little tact. In Episode One, Lamont discovered a coin-like object etched with what appeared to be runes and a swastika among the ruins of the alien planet that was later named Epiphany. So far, he has kept this discovery to himself; the only other person to see the coin was Whit Neil, who apparently failed to see the significance of it.

In Episode Two, Lamont began to suspect that his memories of his time in the communist prison may have been largely fabricated to conceal a deeper set of memories concerning the Scientific Society—where, according to his emerging memories—he spent his childhood.
