Good thing Rex left that box outside. Wonder how he's been doing since he was "tazed" by the folks in the cave?

If you look carefully, you can see that Carter is walking for at least 15 minutes before he reaches the caves. A lot can happen in the meantime. :)

James:

Do you mean that by now, Rex and Rosemary are toast?

As an aside, I was rather irrationally reminded of the Road Runner by the "beep beep" in each panel of today's strip. Found out that today is the 8th anniversary of the death of Chuck Jones.
