Ah, so the octo-torti can be killed and the host can be released. Go get 'em, Arizona.
For some reason I never realised, until reading the above, how closely that parallels the Goa'uld. :P The octo-torti are much more hate-able villains though, if only because they aren't as good at theatre. And yes, I recall the author mention disliking Stargate's military-praising. No neat uniform for Arizona!
Somehow I don't think they're interested in building pyramids. You never know, though...
@James, somehow I don't think that stabbing the host will be a very effective method of freeing the host :)
That depends on how existential your idea of 'freeing' them is, Laszlo. :D
He's free. He's dead. Bonus for Ali...Arizona, since she hated her old man *and* the octo-torti stuff that turned him into a zombie.
These ones are different though? Maybe these ones are the "Goa'uld" octo-torti, and the white ones Westward encountered are the "To'kra."
