So, I'm guessing Alice, being all multiversal singularity-y can see Phobos's lab/layer even thought it's out of sinc with the rest of the Arizonaverse? I have been watching entirely to much Doctor Who, cause, while surprising, I instantly knew what was going on :) Great strip, E!
Whoa! Alice can see but Sam can't. Does she have special "Alice vision" powers? Must be a form of light that's visible to her but not to normal humans. If she were seeing in ultraviolet or infrared, the image should look different than if it was light in the visible range of the spectrum.
That's definitely it, James. I originally drew Alice with big compound eyes, but that seemed to give too much away.
This page challenges my perception of sanity! I like it.
Oh my. She must be deranged. Sam had better play along. Or she'll be embarrassed. Or worse.
So what do you think? Is Alice crazy? Will Westward end in 2015 with her in a mental ward, raving about wasabe blasters?
Will Sam be more or less fascinated with Alice now that he thinks she's crrrrrrrrrrAZY?

And of course, now I'm thinking that he couldn't hear Skully counting down. (It always did seem a little odd to have such an unusual thing just laying around in the open like that, but would make more sense if only people like Alice could hear it.)
Your conclusion is quite correct, HumalaDuck. It can now be safely inferred that Sam has never heard the doomsday skull.
Alternate interpretation: Everyone except Alice is crazy!
Oo! I like Meh.Aloe's theory! It would certainly go a long way to explain why Alice is so grumpy all the time. (Not that Alice's life isn't reason enough to be grumpy all the time.)
Alice doesn't live here---yet. She is a mutant. In more ways than one.
