Is Lamont not interested in the phenomenon? Is it even safe to smoke on a starship during an EM cycle? Is he recording in that first panel?
So many questions, no?!?
1) Possibly, but it's all a bit technical so far.
2) The trick with Westward's cycles is just to be sensitive.
3) If by "recording" you mean, "Tetris," then yes.
And why not, Tetris is the greatest game ever! (fact!) so I'm glad they have it in the Westverse.
I know you use Google Sketchup and I checked it out the other day. For a free program it is very impressive. I know the pro version has even more, but its still great in the free version.
Am I blind? All the words seem so small.
I assume that the words are small because the people are far away, and we're not really meant to hear them.
haha, my eyes! I have tiny screen resolution but I can guess the general shape of the words and assume what they say. Like the middle bubble says "Ill just take the new mini-sub to swim up" right? wait, that doesn't make sense . . .
Yes, I assumed it meant quieter speech because people were further away.
Gillsing's right—it's meant to invoke the effect of the crew being too far away to hear distinctly. I wasn't sure if the intention would be clear or not, but it seemed better than just writing little scribbles or something.
Steve: Sketchup is one of my favorite programs...not only is it intensely useful, it's also just incredibly well designed and a pleasure to operate.
I think Sketchup is too big for the dwindling space of my computer. Maybe on the next one :(
