Frankly, My Dear...

Carter seems to have simply taken Rosemary's statement as a joke. Which begs the question: Was it? I mean, we all love Rosemary. -e

12 Comments:

I see Rosemary isn't pressing the issue of her being a Nazi spy. She also isn't looking too preggers today. Maybe she's her evil twin.
"I don't gave a damn what you think"

Lol. I guess Carter does lose some eloquence when he is really angry. Whit must have only mildly annoyed him back then.

To bad. I was kinda looking forward to see him tell everyone to go..."prevaricate" themselves :)

P.S - I'm making a reference to this strip: http://westwardcomic.com/comic.php?itemid=1083
Btw, point of interest: Sometime ago we saw Rosemary "conspiring" with Faust - Who's from Austria, and has spent most of his life tending to the victims of the epiphany event, whose epicentre was the skies over Berlin
Indeed, Homunclus. You're referring, of course to 04-069 and 04-070.
Prevaricate may not mean what you think. It means to avoid answering by diversion or semantic deflection.

And about Faust, I'm certain that his name has absolutely nothing to do with the one of legendary "deal with the devil" history. Coincidence only. It's not like someone just picked his name for the story.

As for laughing... if Carter was creepy to see laugh, imagine Phobos. Or creepier yet, imagine what would make him laugh.
Lol. What I meant when I said "I was kinda looking forward to see him tell everyone to go..."prevaricate" themselves", was that I expected Carter to tell Spratt to go to hell, but do it in a round-about way using fancy dialogue.

Though, in all fairness I can see how that might be difficult to pick up...

That photo and its caption are more than a little disturbing, Homunclus. I guess that was the idea, though.
1) The Nazi coin which Lamont found in Episode 1 actually fell out of Rosemary's pocket, while she was pulling out her radio to tell the tripods to get ready for her and Rex in the cave

2) Dear old Francis has his head up his arse, if he's about to let that beotch go anywhere with him
I bet the ending of Westward will be more than a little disturbing too
Sounds like a good poll topic: "Do you expect a happy ending for Westward?"
Why would it change from everything so far?
I do think our friends are overdue for something going right.
