I am guessing it depends on how you define 'zombie'. :P It is a rich term with many possible expressions! Who's to say some strange space phenomenon or a bad case of Eschermadness won't lead to some zombie-like behaviours amongst our beloved crew? But when it comes to the usual sort of shambling brain-eating undead, I'd vote 'no'.

The mention of Martians and Nazis reminds me that I do look forward to seeing the Mysterious Nazi Coin (which of course isn't really Nazi! The Swastika is a symbol with a long history, after all... But it's a catchy name :P) make a re-appearance though.
I'm pretty sure I'm not giving too much away when I mention Nazis. Between the shape of the swastika on the coin and the Futhark-like runes surrounding it, the coin was meant to invoke a strong impression. It's true that we have very few clues regarding the details of how they fit or what form they'll take, but the eventual presence of something that can be labeled as "Nazi" is an inevitable element of Westward.
I find this information surprising and exciting! Now I'm off to learn about runes on Wikipedia. :D
Hmm, I just had another great idea for Westward merchandise! Or wait, maybe it was a terrible idea... 6_6
Nazi Coin buttons? Yes, that would be a terrible idea.

In an act of incredible daring, I voted "no" on the likelihood of seeing zombies in this third episode. Instead I choose to believe in mutants.
Zombies can work. But they can't be those ho-hum standard Zombies shambling about in rags moaning "Brains". No, these will have to be suave, sophisticated Zombies who have a good dry cleaner, stylish hair and stroll about smoothly while holding glasses of good wine saying "Brains" in French and offering pithy insults and biting only people they catch holding a can of American lite beer.
Johnnyreb: If pretending to be a zombie would allow me to carry out my personal vendetta against lite beer drinkers, I would be all for it.
