Inspiration: Telecommunications Services for the 1990's

Posted: Thursday, March 15, 2012 This 8-minute film was made in 1969 at the Post Office Research Station, Dollis Hill. It's worth watching just for the painfully deadpan presentation, but the really amazing thing is the accuracy of its predictions.

My favorite part? The look of relief on the young woman's face at the very end, when she realizes she can't get married after all.

My favourite part was the metal encased screens they used. Equipment fit for a laboratory, not a business environment.
